The enemy is not flesh.
The enemy doesn’t have a face…
What we are fighting, is on the spiritual plane.
How silly am I to have listened to the voice of our enemy, for so long? The one who screams, I will never be enough, and should second guess all that I do; when God says that I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Also, that I have purpose, and that I am more than enough. All I have to do is live each day to the best of my abilities, and learn from my mistakes along the way.
I am learning that Satan tends to play his games as if he is some kind of goalie. He tends to relax & leave those who he is not worried about, alone. But those who just might score, cause Satan to feel anxious to the brim. Maybe he even starts biting his nails, as he feels the massive pit forming in his stomach. Therefore, he tends to get really defensive and will do all that he can to keep you from achieving your goal and scoring.
Just as you get to the end zone, spiritual warfare is likely to become as intense as it has ever been. Your life might just feel like as if Hell created a huddle, and Satan screamed ALL DEMONS AVAILABLE GET OVER HERE AND BLOCK HER, SHE (OR HE) IS WAY TO CLOSE!
But if you keep running, and focus on where you want to go, you will find before you a clear path. You won’t see it right away because Satan, plus, his friends are blocking it. But Revelation 3:8 says, “I have put before you an open door that no one can close.” Therefore, if you just keep running, Satan is going to have to move.
God says He needs someone with enough faith to walk (or run).
