People Will Spit Fire!

Sometimes Satan will possess other people’s minds to spit fire at you. They will attempt to knock you down, convince you to quit after your first or second failed attempt at something, and make you feel as if you will never achieve what you set out to do.

However, through everything we do, we have to LEARN how to do it. We have few “natural abilities” coming into this world- like crying, sleeping, and pooping… Everything else is achieved through learning, practicing, and doing.

I believe we are each designed uniquely, and God has created a different yellow brick road for each of us to endure. This world is complex, and only God has the power to be an expert in all areas. Therefore, God created specialties in every area and calls us to become experts in specific fields.

We discover who we are and what we are called to do by celebrating life on the level we are on. At various stages, we find our interests, desires, and develop talents that influence the decisions we make. Some of us will quickly pick up one thing, enjoy it and pursue it, while another thing may never click. Some things may always be hard and unintriguing, which can be frustrating. But, I encourage you to strive towards becoming an expert where you feel lead and focus on contributing your interests and talents to the world.

The Bible says it over and over again, “you are on purpose, you have a purpose, and this world needs you.”

Satan will do everything he can to stop you and convince you otherwise, and on your path, you will experience both failure and success.

But, I encourage you to keep in mind there are ALWAYS two ways to look at things. You can see the glass as half-full or half-empty. You can run from the first sign of failure, or you can look at it as progress towards achieving a goal in the future.

This world containing billions of people with different dreams, abilities, and callings is competitive. If you give up, you will only be giving your competition a leg up, as there is now one less person to compete with to obtain the goal.

We can’t look at life and categorize the goals that we did not achieve as a failure. It’s easy to quit when we fail. The human tendency is to get caught up in time you spent getting your hopes up and categorizing the time spent preparing, as wasted. However, the alternative is to keep going, maintain an optimistic attitude, and learn from each step on your way.

I acknowledge it can be frustrating when things don’t go according to plan. You might question why you did not get picked, what you’re missing, or what you’re doing wrong. But any goal that you are so quick to ditch the second you don’t get your way is probably not a goal that you would have endured and had lasting success in if you had achieved it.

Something the Lord is continuously teaching me is that there is no wasted time. In every moment, we are learning, growing, and becoming more qualified for what we set out to do.

When we finally achieve what we strived for, we will appreciate it and be so much better equipped to sustain it, because we continued to strengthen and endeavor our dreams.

Those around us have the choice to be supportive and cheer us on, or they can choose to spit poison and discourage your accomplishments along the way.

So, keep going, believe in yourself, and surround yourself with cheerleaders!

God will use you and give you the desires of your heart when you are ready. In His perfect timing.

So, even in the fire, I encourage you to be alive in Him.

P.S. If you are ever in need of a cheerleader… I am your gal! I am here for anyone and everyone, and would love to support you in every way!!

You are so loved.
